Reviews all quotes submitted by Sales and vets whether the Opportunity is ready to Quote.  Configures quotes as required by sales representatives and managers.  Provide technical assistance to sales personnel regarding hardware and software configurations, including the feasibility of system design.  Provides expertise related to key third party hardware and software vendors.  Serves a critical role revenue-generating role within Solution Engineering team.  

  • Sales Quotes.  Manages sales quote queue, configures quotes and budgetary estimates, confirms approvals and artifacts are included in quote, oversees product structure and price book in CPQ, attend bid integrity calls with Sales to ensure proposal is ready to quote.  

  • Vendor Knowledge Share.  Provides technical knowledge to Sales, SOW Analysts and Product teams regarding hardware, software and network configurations.

  • Purchase Orders.  Creates and submits purchase orders to vendors for all third-party software and hardware per solution orders.   Work with Product Management and Project Management to support ordering hardware and software per project stage gate.

  • Vendor Quotes/Reports.  Partner with product, sales and vendors to manage, request and vet third party vendor quotes for hardware and software.  Reviews vendor quotes to ensure adequate margin is achieved.  Provide monthly/quarterly reports to vendors as required.  

  • eStore Pos and Requisitions.  Generate all purchase orders in GP, submit and receive purchase orders from vendors, provide tracking information to clients or ASM, provide responses to questions from vendor, clients or ASMs.  

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years of Technical and/or business experience or Associates in Computer Science or equivalent field and 0 years

  • 1. Experience with MS-Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, Excel

  • 2. Technical experience with hardware, software and networks

  • 3. Experience drafting and/or reviewing contract documents or Purchase Orders

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Associates in Computer Science or equivalent field 1 year of Technical and/or business experience

  • 1. Experience implementing and/or installing software or hardware

  • 2. Experience managing vendor / third party relationships

  • 3. Project Management experience

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
