Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. The Technical Support Intern will work onsite between 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday in our Flushing, Queens office. Lunch and transportation allowance are provided.
Role Summary: The Technical Support Intern provides strong backup to the deployment team, to ensure smooth daily operations and enhance customer satisfaction. 
Responsibilities:

  • Understand the basic characteristics of various credit card processing devices to help maintain and improve inventory management 
  • Become familiar with various device-related CRM systems and handle some simple device deployment requests
  • Learn the basic functions and operations of credit card processing devices to help complete some of the troubleshooting
  • Process client applications for different credit card processing services, and input client information by using the company client management system (CRM)
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to terminal hardware. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with complex systems 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced technical environments
  • Currently in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Interest in troubleshooting and problem solving; prior experience with solving technical inquiries is a plus
