Technical writers maintain the documentation for Metabase.
What you’ll do
- Work with engineers, product managers, and product designers to create clear, customer-facing documentation for Metabase.
- Collaborate with our Success Engineers to understand how customers think and develop best practices, guides, and tutorials to address customer needs.
- Become a product expert, test new features, and provide product feedback.
About you
- 3+ years of experience writing docs for technical audiences in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields.
- Technical expertise in data science or data engineering - you’ll be expected to be a product and domain expert.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and data landscape.
- Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Markdown, and Git.
Nice to have
- Experience with API and SDK documentation.
- Familiarity with Python or JavaScript.
- Strong opinions about docs tooling.
