Position Summary

Arcesium seeks an exceptional Technology Operations Intern to join our team for the summer. The goal of our summer internship program is to give exposure to the projects and environment here at Arcesium. On the development side, the Intern will learn about and contribute to shipping the applications and features which power our business. Internship will provide opportunity to dive into data centric problems and extract meaningful insights for the business. The intern will directly report to the office of CTO and will get to work with senior technology leaders during the tenure of the internship.

 

Responsibilities

- Support the office of CTO on strategic initiatives that cut across breadth of our platform. Implement data centric tools and visualizations to extract meaningful insights related to key benchmark indicators for platform throughput & resilience and the operational excellence. Build tools and visualizations to extracts insights into financial performance of different product modules at Arcesium.   


Qualifications

- The ideal candidate should be pursuing a major in STEM field. A demonstrated passion for technology and innovative problem solving.

- A basic understanding of web application design, comfort with at least one programming language, and a desire to learn about new technologies and systems

- A strong academic background in computer science and at least three years of either personal or professional coding experience

- Professional or personal experience with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, SQL, and/or AWS (this is a strong plus)

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to construct rigorous arguments

The expected monthly salary for this position is $10,000. Our compensation package also includes a one-time housing stipend.
