Technology Outsourced Accounting Manager

Withum’s Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Manager to join our growing team in Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; New York, NY; East Brunswick, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Princeton, NJ;  Whippany, NJ; Los Angeles, CA or Irvine, CA office. This role will be a hybrid-based position. The Outsourced Accounting Manager will oversee and work together with staff and senior team members to service a wide range of technology organizations.  Are you a proven problem solver with a knack for numbers? How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Supervising a team
• Reviewing and approving payments to vendors / contractors
• Reviewing and approving payroll
• Handling month end close process
• Reviewing and approving all proposed JEs
• Reviewing all reconciliations for Balance sheet accounts
• Monthly Financial Reporting including FS, narratives and dashboards
• Assisting with grant reporting and submissions
• Budgeting / Cash flow forecasting
• Working with Client Leadership of organization
• Facilitating outside annual audits
• Ensuring proper internal controls and enhancement of processes

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA preferred and/or MBA equivalent
• 5-7+ years of accounting experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• Preferably experience with NetSuite,  Intacct Accounting System, and/or QuickBooks Accounting Systems
• Experience working with technology organizations with a basic understanding of accounting reporting for technology companies
• Involvement in their community and desire to “give back”

The compensation for this position ranges from $125,000-$145,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
