Job Description

This position will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of TikTok. This role is focused on creating content to build our TikTok page. You will gain hands on experience working with our Resident TikTok Creator, who has grown her own platform to almost 100k followers. We’re a growing web startup that sells digital products. You’ll have the chance to help build our company from the ground up. Responsibilities will include:

  • Understand brand personality 
  • Schedule and monitor content calendar 
  • Creation of content - capture photos and videos for posts
  • Be available to meet and act in videos (no acting experience required)
  • Assist in editing, filming, & production
  • Learn about filming and editing process 
  • Analyze TikTok algorithm and business platform statistics 
  • Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends
  • Pitch video ideas and contribute to creativity 

Qualifications

You might be perfect for this position if you are:

  • Have experience building business Instagram profiles and using content calendars 

  • Are pursuing or have completed media studies degree / an emphasis in video production as a plus (not required)

  • Extremely passionate for online marketing and video production

  • A self-starter and excel in a fast-paced, creative environment

  • LOVE TikTok 

  • Have flexibility to be available in NYC for content shooting times (necessary)
