Responsibilities
  • Working closely with quantitative traders and software developers to operate and supervise our automated trading strategies
  • Monitoring production trading for risk and compliance issues and quickly responding to unusual behaviors or market conditions
  • Proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues related to day-to-day trading activities 
  • Developing programming scripts and applications to automate and facilitating our trading system
  • Analyzing production trades and market data, and developing ideas to improve our trading strategies
  • Working an early morning schedule to provide trading and production support aligned with relevant market hours
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a trade monitoring, trading, or trade support role is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze trading data, investigate issues, and draw actionable conclusions
  • Good understanding of futures markets, including products, trading venues, market structure, and risk management
  • Good understanding of algorithmic trading technology and architecture, including UNIX/Linux environments and monitoring applications
  • Experience with Python to support existing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to work effectively on complex tasks, take initiative, and assume increasing responsibility over time
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Anticipated New York annual base salary range $120,000- $200,000, plus eligible for bonus(es).
