The Base

We are based at 7 Bryant Park in the heart of NYC. And we have everything we need to work flexibly. We operate a hybrid working model, with a requirement that our Transaction Services Lead Analyst 1 be in the office 3 days per week. This is to sustain our culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and building relationships within the business.


The Team 

This role is suited to a detail-oriented operations professional who can manage daily production deadlines and identify issues before they become operational risk events.


Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Analyst to support ETF file management, trade processing, securities set-up and pricing oversight. The role provides accurate, timely operational support across investment products and ETF workflows, working closely with Portfolio Management, Trading, Fund Accounting, Custodians, Administrators, data vendors and ETF service providers.

 

This position requires a regular rotating schedule:

  • Week 1: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Week 2: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Candidates must be able to work both shifts on an ongoing basis to support business operations across time zones.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support ETF daily operations, including PCF, basket, holdings, pricing and trade file production, validation and distribution.

  • Monitor file delivery through SFTP, ETF agents, administrators, vendors, NSCC and other market platforms; escalate issues as needed.

  • Process, validate and monitor end-of-day trades across equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives and ETF activity.

  • Resolve trade, settlement, cash, position, pricing and reconciliation exceptions within required deadlines.

  • Create and maintain security master data, including identifiers, classifications, pricing sources and settlement attributes.

  • Respond to operational queries from internal stakeholders, Authorized Participants, custodians, administrators and service providers.

  • Maintain procedures and controls, identify operational risks, and support incident resolution, root-cause analysis and process improvements.

  • Contribute to new product launches, ETF operating model enhancements, system testing and automation initiatives.


Skills and Behaviors Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3–5 years of experience in Asset Management Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support, Fund Operations, ETF Operations or a similar function.

  • Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle, post-trade controls, reconciliations, operational risk, security master data, pricing controls and valuation support.

  • Familiarity with ETF workflows, including creations/redemptions, basket processing, PCF files and service-provider oversight.

  • Knowledge of equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, cash products and/or ETFs.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines in a production environment.

  • Clear communication skills with the ability to escalate issues and work across internal and external stakeholders.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, SWIFT, DTCC/NSCC, ETF workflow tools, market data vendors, Microsoft Excel or Power BI.

Compensation

Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $85,000 to $100,000 for this position.

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
