About the Position

We are looking to hire an experienced Travel Manager to lead our NYC travel team and evolve our US travel program. In this role, you’ll work with a number of teams across Jane Street to provide exceptional travel experiences for our colleagues and candidates across the US.

There are a lot of moving parts to our travel operations, and this role is an opportunity to offer fresh and creative ideas to drive innovation and evolve our travel program as we scale—keeping it best in class. Your focus will be on:

  • Developing and executing travel strategy for the US region, partnering with global teams to ensure alignment while addressing local market nuances
  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiations with travel suppliers
  • Overseeing day-to-day travel operations, including bookings and expense processing
  • Leading process improvement initiatives

About You
  • Have 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate travel management; previous experience managing a team is a plus 
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational excellence
  • Reliable, courteous, and flexible team player with a great customer service attitude
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating change
  • Able to multitask and prioritize varying, sometimes competing requests 
  • Organized and detail-oriented 
  • Comfortable working independently, making decisions quickly, and taking initiative to close the loop on outstanding issues
  • Can work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings and evening hours to handle urgent travel needs
  • Experienced with Google Workspace, Excel, and travel management platforms
  • Ideally experienced with expense management systems (Workday or similar) and corporate card programs (but not required)
  • Ideally experienced with Jira or similar systems (but not required)
