Trend Forecaster – Hybrid NYC or Remote

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

BaubleBar is looking for a savvy and trend-forward Trend Forecaster to support the Trend Forecasting & Concept team. The Trend Forecaster will have proven experience and deep appreciation of multiple industries beyond Fashion, including Home Interiors, Consumer Tech, and Pop Culture. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the market landscape, ever-changing trend cycles, and have a demonstrated ability to identify and translate trends with a unique perspective.

With a focus on trend development and concept design, you’ll also collaborate and support BaubleBar’s design and merchandising team to see product through from start to finish. The Trend Forecaster will be proactive in presenting new ideas and delivering innovation with the ability to pin-point trends that will impact the accessories market.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:

• Be up to date with fashion trends to offer a fresh perspective within our designs
• Extensive trend knowledge that goes beyond just fashion/jewelry, such as home interiors, pop culture, tech, and more
• Support our trend team by pulling inspiration, comping the market and creating design boards
• Have an expansive library of designers, stores, influencers, and social media channels that you keep up with
• Have a strong fashion and color perspective that can be adapted to BaubleBar aesthetics 
• Collaborate closely with our Design team on sketch work 
• Bring a high-level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet deadlines

 WHAT WE WANT TO SEE:

• 4+ years of trend forecasting, fashion, and/or media studies experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Creative Direction, Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art or related degree preferred
• Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail while multi-tasking many projects
• Forward thinker that brings a new perspective toward product
• Strong communication skills
• A fun, creative, kind and multi-faceted personality!
• Role can be Hybrid with time onsite at our NYC HQ or fully remote (residing in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.)

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Starting salary range for this role is $65-85k. Starting offer within that range will factor in work location, skills, background and years of relevant experience
