We are seeking an experienced U.S. Federal Government Contracts Specialist to identify, manage, and submit federal contract applications on behalf of multiple business entities. This role will focus on sourcing relevant U.S. federal contracting opportunities, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and preparing high-quality proposals aligned with each business’s service offerings.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience navigating U.S. federal procurement systems and understands the complete federal contracting lifecycle—from opportunity identification to proposal submission and award tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify relevant U.S. federal contract opportunities across multiple agencies (e.g., SAM.gov, agency portals)

  • Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to determine eligibility and strategic fit for each business

  • Prepare, write, and submit compliant and competitive federal contract proposals

  • Manage and maintain required federal registrations and certifications, including:

    • SAM.gov

    • UEI

    • NAICS codes

    • Small business certifications (if applicable)

  • Ensure all proposals meet FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) requirements

  • Coordinate proposal documentation, pricing inputs, and compliance matrices

  • Track deadlines, amendments, and clarifications throughout the solicitation process

  • Monitor award notices, debriefings, and follow-up opportunities

  • Provide regular reporting on submitted, pending, and awarded contracts

Scope of Work

The Federal Contracts Specialist must demonstrate strong expertise in:

  • U.S. federal procurement processes and acquisition methods

  • FAR compliance and eligibility requirements

  • Federal proposal writing and submission standards

  • Government contracting portals and systems (SAM.gov and agency-specific platforms)

  • Managing multiple federal contract applications across different business entities

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in U.S. federal government contracting or procurement

  • Strong working knowledge of FAR and federal acquisition processes

  • Demonstrated success in preparing and submitting federal proposals

  • Excellent technical and narrative proposal writing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple solicitations simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail and compliance accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience securing awarded U.S. federal contracts

  • Familiarity with small business set-asides and socioeconomic programs

  • Experience supporting multiple companies or service lines
