UX Designer/ Research Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer/ Research to support our Finance Applications within the Experience Enablement organization. This individual will be responsible for leading end-to-end UX activities—from user research through high-fidelity design—while partnering closely with Business and Technology stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned UX professional who is equally comfortable facilitating discovery sessions, conducting user research, creating polished designs in Figma, and navigating cross-functional stakeholder relationships. This role requires someone who can operate independently with minimal oversight and help strengthen collaboration between UX, Business, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities User Research & Discovery

  • Plan and conduct qualitative user research, including stakeholder interviews and contextual inquiry.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops and design thinking sessions.
  • Conduct usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Present research insights to business and technology stakeholders.

UX Design

  • Translate research findings into user journeys, process flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Produce high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability findings.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build trusted relationships across Business, Product, and Technology organizations.
  • Facilitate alignment between business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Communicate design rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help foster a collaborative UX culture by strengthening partnerships across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of UX Design experience in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end UX projects from discovery through delivery.
  • Strong qualitative research experience, including:
    • Stakeholder interviews
    • Workshop facilitation
    • Usability testing
    • Research synthesis
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience creating:
    • User flows
    • Wireframes
    • Interactive prototypes
    • High-fidelity UI designs
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams throughout implementation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience designing internal enterprise applications.
  • Financial Services or FinTech experience.
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience balancing business needs with technical constraints.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting organizational change through collaborative design practices.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 45,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 160,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full-time employees.
