Key Responsibilities include:

Internal Tool & Platform Design:

  • Lead the design and redesign of internal digital platforms and tools, collaborating with design leads and leadership.
  • Partner with Research teams to execute and analyze comprehensive user research to uncover employee pain points and workflow challenges.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and experience blueprints for internal systems.
  • Craft intuitive interfaces that simplify complex workflows and enhance user efficiency.

Design & prototyping:

  • Create intuitive, user-centered interfaces for global technology projects.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with user requirements and project vision.
  • Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Provide detailed development annotations for optimized handoff to delivery teams.

Design tool management:

  • Effectively create and manage project design systems in Figma.
  • Adhere to Figma best practices to maintain maximum usability and design efficiency.

Design System Creation & Management:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems that standardize component libraries, design patterns, and style guides.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in design language across all projects and products.
  • Implement processes for regular updates and enhancements to design systems based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Ensure design systems are scalable and adaptable to new technology platforms and tools.

Design Leadership:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering an environment of creativity and professional growth.
  • Lead collaborative design sessions with stakeholders, driving innovative solutions and consensus on design directions.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, influencing project strategies and outcomes.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making, contributing insights to shape the future direction of design initiatives.

Deliverables:

  • Business and user requirement matrices.
  • Low-fidelity wireframes.
  • High-fidelity designs and prototypes
  • UX Maps (Journey, Empathy, User Flows)
  • Research reports and insights.
  • Design system management

Skills/Tools Proficiency:

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience designing B2B experiences, AI experiences, and Platform design experience a plus
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping software (e.g., Figma)
  • Experience in creating detailed user journey maps and user flows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Sharepoint, and Source/ Confluence will be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to proactively manage reporting deadlines and prepare draft reports for review at least 2 days prior to deadlines

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, product design, graphic design, etc – or commensurate work experience demonstrating proficiency.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer or similar role.
