Job Purpose

Value Advisory is Unily's practice for making business impact quantifiable. The function owns how Unily frames, proves, and grows the commercial value of its platform. Value Advisory works across every stage of the customer lifecycle, from first sale through renewal and expansion.

The Value Advisory Manager is a senior individual contributor operating at the intersection of commercial strategy and executive communication. You will be building business cases that win deals, creating value plans that retain and expand customers, and enabling GTM teams to articulate value at scale

This role will require approximately 20-40% travel, typically in region (mostly day trips or one overnight stay).

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead value engagements across the sales cycle — owning the business case and value narrative from initial discovery through close
  • Build Executive Business Cases and ROI models for strategic opportunities, formatted for CFO, CIO, and CHRO audiences
  • Facilitate value discovery workshops with economic buyers to validate assumptions and build internal champions
  • Develop and deliver compelling, highly narrative business case presentations to senior and C-level audiences
  • Conduct consultative quantitative analysis, ROI/TCO modelling, and benchmarking
  • Build and maintain value plans for priority accounts, including maturity baseline, use-case roadmap, and target KPIs
  • Develop QBR value narratives that frame customer reviews around delivered outcomes rather than platform activity
  • Deliver Value Realization Assessments ahead of renewal to compare committed vs. delivered impact
  • Identify expansion opportunities and develop directional value hypotheses for accounts showing readiness signals
  • Contribute to GTM Enablement Sessions to scale value thinking across Sales, Customer Success and Account Management teams
  • Maintain and contribute to templates, frameworks, ROI/TCO models, and case studies

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of relevant experience, ideally in value consulting, strategic pre-sales, customer success leadership, management consulting with a commercial focus, or enterprise SaaS value engineering
  • Demonstrated track record of building business cases that directly influenced deal outcomes
  • Ability to lead high-stakes conversations with CHROs, CIOs, and CFOs without oversight
  • Genuine financial fluency: able to build, challenge, and defend ROI models for a CFO-level audience
  • Strong written communication to produce board-ready narratives without significant editing
  • Domain experience in enterprise software, human capital management, or workforce technology is highly desired
  • Deeply curious about business and broadly interested in leveraging technology to solve organizational problems

We are united by a shared purpose and are committed to truly understanding each other. We know that everyone is unique and has their own story. We strive to have a diverse workforce that embraces and celebrates one another. We are united in building connections and curious to learn from each other so that we continue to grow together to build the workplace of tomorrow.
