New Line Structures (“NLS”) offers a wide range of services including pre-construction, Construction Manager, Owner’s Representative, General Contractor and Design/Build. NLS in the typical Construction Manager as Agent role is responsible for Preconstruction Value Engineering, Purchasing, Construction, Commissioning and Turnover. The Work Model at NLS is based upon “Repeat Business” which only happens when a Client is satisfied. Satisfaction is normally based on Schedule, Quality and Budget.

Job Description

This position implements BIM and VDC technology to assist in the design and construction coordination process.  Ideal candidate has 1-3 years' experience, a degree from an Architecture, Construction or Engineering program, and possesses strong interpersonal skills, technical problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and enjoys working within a fast- paced, innovative enviornment.

Qualifications

-Understanding of the main principles of engineering, construction, and architecture

-BIM knowledge and interest in working with construction technology

-Experience in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD. Navisworks is also preferred, but not required

-Knowledge of Procore preferred

-Knowledge of P6 and Synchro preferred

-Knowledge in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite Preferred (Photoshop & Illustrator)

-Highly organized and able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks

-Aptitude for working collaboratively with teams on projects

-Flexible and able to work in fast-paced environment

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

-Excellent attention to detail

 

Additional Information

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  2. Previous experience working in construction industry 1 to 3 years
