Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 800 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

The role

This is a role for an ambitious communications leader ready to scale the US communications function at an AI cloud company in hypergrowth. You'll own day-to-day US communications, with real autonomy and the opportunity to build something meaningful inside a multibillion-dollar business. Building on strong foundations including two media-focused US PR Directors, you’ll lead a high-impact communications function to support Nebius’s rapidly growing reputation.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and working within a global framework, you'll have decision-making authority, close partnership with C-suite leaders and teams across the business, and a mandate to shape our communications in our largest market. You’ll build our enterprise PR capabilities from the ground up, deepen relationships with partners including NVIDIA’s comms leadership, and lead on crisis communications during US hours.

Offering unusual scope for a regional VP, this role is ideal for a Senior Director at a high-growth cloud, AI, or enterprise tech company ready to step up to a first VP role, or a VP at a smaller organization looking for a larger platform. We’re not looking for a “big beast” with all the answers — we want an ambitious operator who listens, adapts, and builds durable systems.

This role is remote within the United States, with a preference for major tech hubs.

Your responsibilities will include:

US market positioning & enterprise communications

  • Drive stronger presence in top-tier US business media and technical/trade publications, creating a sustained narrative around technology differentiation and business momentum
  • Build up enterprise PR function, establishing credibility and visibility with CIOs, infrastructure leaders, and technical decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies
  • Partner with US-based GTM and technical leadership as communications advisor, with visibility into business strategy and relationships to influence outcomes

Engagement around new US infrastructure sites

  • Provide communications advice and oversee local media relations in locations where Nebius is developing AI infrastructure and data centers
  • Drive a proactive and transparent approach to community engagement, ensuring Nebius is seen as good-faith partner earning social license to operate
  • Maintain visibility into broader community engagement, government relations, and stakeholder programs while owning the media relations component

Strategic partner relations

  • Uplevel Nebius’s relationship with counterparts at key partners including NVIDIA through regular engagement, securing prominent positioning at major events and coordinating joint announcements
  • Develop communications strategy for growing ecosystem of strategic partners including major systems integrators, resellers, and infrastructure partners
  • Build senior-level relationships with partner communications teams to ensure Nebius is positioned as a preferred infrastructure partner in the AI ecosystem

Regional leadership & team development

  • Own day-to-day US communications operations, balancing autonomous decision-making with knowing when coordination is needed
  • Build and scale the US communications team, adding enterprise PR expertise and additional capacity based on business needs

Financial communications & crisis readiness

  • Partner with investor relations to support quarterly earnings cycles, shaping messaging and owning media strategy around financial announcements
  • Lead communications in the US around M&A, fundraising, and other corporate events, coordinating with relevant teams across the business
  • Layer US communications capability onto company crisis readiness protocols, and serve as crisis lead during US hours
We expect you to have:
  • 10-15 years in communications, including significant in-house experience
  • Substantial B2B technology experience and clear track record of building something significant (a function, program, team, or capability)
  • Direct experience building enterprise communications programs, establishing credibility with enterprise media, positioning technical differentiation, and supporting complex sales cycles
  • Financial communications fluency including earnings cycles and material corporate announcements
  • Crisis communications experience including war room participation, managing difficult situations, and making decisions under pressure
  • Strong existing media relationships in US business press and technology/trade publications; journalistic experience is a plus
  • An operator mindset – equally comfortable developing strategy and executing, willing to draft statements and manage approvals yourself alongside strategic work
  • Ability to navigate matrix organizations effectively, coordinating across European HQ and US operations with appropriate balance of autonomy and alignment
  • Executive presence to hold your own with C-suite, engage with senior leadership at strategic partners, and represent company to enterprise media – without needing to be in every meeting
It will be an added bonus if you have:
  • Infrastructure, cloud, or AI sector experience with understanding of technical differentiation and enterprise buying cycles
  • Existing relationships in the NVIDIA ecosystem or experience working with strategic technology partners
  • Experience supporting community engagement, regulatory communications, or business diplomacy programs
  • Understanding of data center development, permitting processes, or local government relation

Key employee benefits in the US:

  • Health insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families.
  • 401(k) plan: Up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.
  • Parental leave: 20 weeks paid for primary caregivers, 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • Remote work reimbursement: Up to $85/month for mobile and internet.
  • Disability & life insurance: Company-paid short-term, long-term and life insurance coverage.

Compensation

We offer competitive salaries, ranging from 225k - 285k OTE + equity based on your experience.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nebius.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment that values initiative and innovation.

We’re growing and expanding our products every day. If you’re up to the challenge and are excited about AI and ML as much as we are, join us!
