Job Description
We are looking for a senior Data Management professional with expertise in Data Catalog and Data Quality who will be responsible for setting the strategy, developing a roadmap and expanding the adoption of Data Catalog and Data Quality tools across the organization. The right candidate will be part of the Everest Data Platform team and will work closely with other technology teams to understand their usecases and enable adoption of Data Quality and Data Catalog tools.
Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and adoption of Data Catalog and Data Quality tools across the organization
  • Independently and proactively engage with other technology teams and build a broader awareness and application of key data quality and data catalog tools and principles
  • Partner with technology teams and business partners to capture concise requirements
  • Collaborate with developments teams, providing clear business requirements, articulating business value, and collaborating on technical solutions
  • Stay up to date with the industry trends, standards, and innovation within the data quality and data catalog domains, and empower colleagues across our organization to demonstrate these in their day-to-day
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all things Data Quality and Data Catalog, educate users as needed
  • Develop and publish metrics for Data Quality and Data Catalog usage


Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in banking, product management and/or project management
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering / data management / data catalog / data quality space
  • Experience managing complex projects end to end - partnering with technology and business partners
  • Experience working with Data Quality and Data Catalog tools available in the market
  • Experience working on a Cloud platform (AWS, Databricks)
  • Ability to drive change, lead and contribute to large complex programs
  • Ability to partner well and work in a team environment, manage relationships across various levels of the organizations
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint - represents the product set in senior management meetings
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
