NAM Wealth Deposit Product Management team focuses on product governance, regulatory initiatives, operational processes, and technology implementations impacting core banking products for the Wealth Clients in Americas across various Platform.

The Team is seeking a Deposit Product Manager (Vice President) to support the management and development of deposit products across the Wealth platform.

The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring deposit products operate effectively, meet regulatory requirements, and support the needs of bankers and clients. The successful candidate will partner closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and front office teams to translate business needs into scalable product capabilities.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product strategy, regulatory execution, and technology transformation while supporting Citi Wealth’s global client base.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Product Leadership:
    • Product Strategy & Evolution: Support the strategy and roadmap for Wealth deposit products, identifying opportunities to enhance product functionality, improve client experience, and align capabilities with broader Citi initiatives.
    • Product Development Lifecycle: Support the development and enhancement of deposit products across the full lifecycle—from business ideation and requirements definition through implementation and post-launch monitoring.
    • Operational Process Optimization: Support the design and refinement of operational processes related to deposit servicing, interest payments, account management, fee structures, and lifecycle events.
  • Driving Transformation & Delivery
    • Lead Transformation Initiatives: Lead in transformation initiatives in Deposits product, including product simplification, modernization of platforms, and process re-engineering.
    • Translating Vision to Execution: Translate business needs and regulatory requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technology and operations teams.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate execution with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and regional business teams. 
    • Regulatory & Strategic Commitment: Support delivery of regulatory, operational, and strategic commitments tied to product quality, controls, and technology improvement.
  • Technology Book of Work Coordination
    • Drive alignment between the global technology book of work and product strategy, regulatory commitments, and operational priorities.
    • Establish governance routines to improve transparency, prioritization, and dependency management across global delivery teams.
    • Partner with Technology to enable timely delivery of critical enhancements, control improvements, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Control Objectives & Standards:
    • Ensure control, operational, and product standards for Americas Deposit products are clearly defined and consistently implemented across regions.
    • Partner with Risk & Control, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure strong control design, proactive issue identification, and high‑quality remediation.
    • Support global governance routines spanning issue management, key risk indicators, process documentation, and testing frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and front office teams to ensure successful delivery of product enhancements and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Citi Wealth organization and other Citi businesses to align on product requirements, regulatory expectations, and implementation timelines.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and support ongoing product optimization.

What We’ll Need From You:

We are seeking a candidate with strong product management experience who can operate effectively within complex banking environments and collaborate across multiple teams.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, banking, or financial services
  • Experience working with deposit products, liquidity solutions, or cash management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks within financial services
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-region change programs; strong ability to influence, challenge constructively, and build alignment across a matrixed organization; collaborative and relationship-driven, able to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into product and technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Continuous improvement orientation, focused on simplification, scalability, and operational excellence; resilient, proactive, and effective in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or related fields preferred.
  • Professional certifications (project management, risk management, operational excellence) are a plus.
  • Experience managing or supporting banking products such as escrow accounts, certificate of deposits, liquidity structures, or cash management solutions.
  • Experience supporting regulatory initiatives and translating regulatory requirements into operational and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives within large organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in product development, banking transformation, or financial infrastructure programs
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results across concurrent initiatives.

Education:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
