We are seeking a curious and results-driven VP of Digital Marketing to spearhead the transformation of our global B2B digital strategy. In this role, you will architect a digital marketing engine that meets the current challenges and opportunities in digital marketing introduced by AI. You’ll lead a global team that creates and continuously improves on an education-led online strategy for prospective and existing customers as primary audience segments. You will use data-derived insights to identify targeting for digital channels across owned and paid as well alignment of earned strategies (keyphrase strategies, backlinking etc) to generate demand and awareness for SEON products and services globally.

As a key growth driver, you will leverage AI technologies to generate insights and achieve the right level of personalization, at scale across digital assets that also support regional Account-Based Experience (ABX) strategies for high-value accounts. The ideal candidate is a champion of continuous iteration, utilizing data-driven insights to accelerate conversions and predictably scale the business pipeline. Leading a highly agile, globally distributed team, you will foster a culture of curiosity, market responsiveness, experimentation with data at the foundation that gets delivered through cross-functional execution.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Strategy & Organic Visibility

  • Transform existing B2B digital marketing strategy, leveraging AI to make existing channels more efficient in delivering top organic rankings or share of voice across modern search and generative AI discovery engines (SEO/GEO).

  • Define and own the roadmap for AI-powered content, technical SEO, and GEO — ensuring the brand is discovered and cited by both traditional search engines and large language models.

  • Stay ahead of rapid shifts in AI-driven search behavior by quickly responding and adapting digital strategies accordingly.

ABX & Personalization at Scale

  • Deploy AI-powered personalization frameworks across global digital assets to deliver hyper-targeted, relevant experiences that engage and convert tier-one enterprise accounts.

  • Partner with regional marketing, sales, and product marketing to align digital experiences with ABX plays for named accounts and key segments.

  • Translate customer and intent data into actionable personalization strategies across web, and paid channels.

  • Innovate on digital channels used to deliver messaging and engagement in ICP audiences (example to create the digital strategy for engaging non-traditional channels like Reddit).

Pipeline & Conversion Optimization

  • Establish a rigorous culture of continuous testing, experimentation, and iteration to maximize conversion rates and deliver a robust, measurable pipeline to the business.

  • Implement and refine metrics for digital throughput and impact, tying work to funnel and pipeline outcomes such as MQLs, SQLs, pipeline and opportunities and expansion.

  • Partner with GTM operations to ensure data, tools, and reporting support rapid experimentation and clear attribution.

Global Team Leadership

  • Set the pace for innovation that works cross-functionally and globally within the agile way of working

  • Scale a high-performing, globally distributed digital team and agency partners, fostering collaboration across varying time zones and cultures.

  • Coach team members on Agile (responsive, learning through experimentation, scaling what works) ways of working that have been tailored to SEON, including experiment backlogs, sprint-based campaign planning, and iterative approaches.

  • Operating within Agile structures and ceremonies that optimize for faster cycle times and learning across digital sub-functions.

Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Translate company and CMO strategy into a clear digital roadmap, OKRs, and cross-team priorities, and track execution against these plans.

  • Work with agile teams to ensure alignment with product, sales, and customer success on launches, messaging, and digital programs; identify, communicate, and manage dependencies and risks.

  • Prepare and contribute to CMO staff meetings, QBRs, and key leadership forums, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, and follow-through on action items.

  • Domestic and global travel up to 20%.

 
Qualifications
  • 2+ years operating at VP level

  • Proven experience leading B2B digital marketing at scale, with deep expertise in SEO/GEO, paid digital, web strategy, and AI utilization for efficiency, targeting and personalization.

  • Demonstrated success deploying Account-Based Experience (ABX) and personalization programs for midmarket and enterprise segments.

  • Strong command of SaaS marketing and revenue metrics — pipeline, ARR, NRR, and conversion — with the ability to prioritize work and experiments based on impact.

  • Proven experience applying Agile or Lean methodologies in non-engineering marketing teams, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working directly with senior executives and working cross-functionally across global and regional teams.

  • Experience managing globally distributed teams and agency partners across time zones and cultures.

  • Familiarity with AI tooling, marketing automation, and work-management platforms such as Jira, Asana, or similar.

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban are a plus.
