Your Role: VP of Engineering
As the Vice President of Engineering at WireScreen, you'll spearhead the transformation of our engineering team into a powerhouse of innovation and excellence. You'll not only shape the technical direction of our products but also foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the development of our market-leading platform, enabling organizations worldwide to make informed investment decisions and mitigate supply chain risks.
What You'll Do:
- Scale our engineering team into a world-class organization, fueling the development of a market-validated product with limitless potential
- Lead and hone the end-to-end recruiting pipeline, ensuring we attract and retain top talent
- Strategically deploy talent across projects to maximize productivity and innovation
- Cultivate a psychologically safe work environment that unlocks each team member’s full potential
- Foster a culture of transparency, autonomy, and collaboration
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to actively prioritize features and deliver on the product roadmap
- Define and drive the high-level technical vision for our products
Who You Are/What You Have:
- 10+ years of experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Charismatic communicator with the ability to attract top talent by articulating compelling narratives around the company's vision
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development fundamentals
- Proficient in navigating between high-level strategy and detailed execution, in alignment with the larger vision and roadmap
- Proven track record of balancing speed and product quality while effectively managing technical debt
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a strong bias for action

- Experience managing distributed teams and ensuring the success of remote employees

*The base pay range for this position is $275-325k per/year + substantial equity and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
