Founded in 2019, Uncapped is a fintech company focused on providing working capital to SMEs in North America and Europe.

We leverage multiple data sources to make credit decisions faster, safer and more conveniently. We are working with the largest platforms in the world, including Amazon and Walmart, and strive to be the best alternative-lender globally.

What will you do ✍️

• Lead and grow the technology part of the business
• Work alongside top management of the company to shape strategy, culture and roadmap for the whole organisation
• Drive innovation in the company, develop new products and make existing ones 10x better
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership and execution
• Champion best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and incident response.
• Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to analyse team output and product impact.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent across multiple disciplines and seniority levels.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements across all engineering activities.

Who you are 👀

• Proven leader with 10+ years of engineering experience, including significant time in a senior management or executive role within fintech or technology-driven environments.
• Can demonstrate impact on technology, product and culture of the organisation
• Deep technical expertise in software development, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
• Previous experience in building product companies
• Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable engineering plans.
• Experienced in scaling engineering teams while maintaining culture and operational discipline.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across multiple functions and with stakeholders at all levels.
• Passionate about technology innovation, continuous learning, and empowering teams to do their best work.
• Results-oriented with a focus on delivering customer value and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security considerations in financial services technology is a plus.
