The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Vice President of Finance and Operations is Meridian's senior business operations leader, responsible for the financial stewardship and operational scalability of the firm. This executive oversees Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Recruiting, Legal, and operational governance while ensuring the systems, processes, controls, and infrastructure necessary to support continued growth are in place.

You'll manage a lean internal team supported by specialized third-party partners, with authority to build internal capabilities as business needs evolve. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll serve as a strategic partner to the Managing Partner, providing financial insight, operational discipline, and organizational leadership across the enterprise.

Why Meridian, Why Now

There's no shortage of professional services firms. Here's what's different about this one:

We're not building from zero — we're building for scale. Meridian is a 20+ year-old business with deep client relationships, a proven delivery model, and consistent year-over-year revenue growth. The infrastructure you're being asked to build has a strong foundation underneath it.

This role has real authority. You'll have a direct line to the Managing Partner, full hiring authority, and a clear mandate — not a loosely defined one. The decisions you make will shape how this firm operates for years to come.

The timing is intentional. We've reached the point where operational excellence is no longer optional — it's the differentiator. This role exists because we're ready to invest in infrastructure that matches our ambition. You won't be maintaining a system someone else built; you'll be building the system.

The market is in your favor. Public sector Workday and SAP spend is accelerating. State and local governments, K–12 districts, and federal agencies are expanding their footprints — and Meridian is positioned to grow with them. Operational excellence at the firm level directly enables that growth.

The culture is human. Meridian is built on integrity, mission, and relationships. Our clients feel it. Our team feels it. You will too.
