You and Your Job

As a Fund Finance Vice President, you will deliver expert, insight‑driven financing solutions by partnering across Rabobank to support clients’ strategic objectives and cultivate long‑term, trusted‑advisor relationships. In this role, you will help clients access tailored fund‑level financing by structuring, presenting, arranging, underwriting, and managing subscription, NAV, hybrid, and other fund finance facilities. You will collaborate closely with sponsor coverage, relationship managers, product partners, and risk teams to produce thoughtful, risk‑aware outcomes for our clients and the bank.

As a Fund Finance Vice President, you will deliver expert, insight‑driven financing solutions by partnering across Rabobank to support clients’ strategic objectives and cultivate long‑term, trusted‑advisor relationships.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Position Rabobank as a leading lender in North American fund finance and represent the bank at relevant industry events and conferences.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Private Equity clients, prospects, and market participants, including other banks and law firms, to originate and execute fund finance opportunities.

  • Partner closely with Sponsor Coverage to identify opportunities, craft pitches, and present tailored financing solutions to Treasurer/CFO‑level stakeholders.

  • Advise clients on structuring, timing, investor considerations, and legal terms for subscription, NAV, hybrid, and other fund‑level facilities.

  • Conduct credit prescreening, assess key risks and mitigants, and direct efforts toward pursuing risk‑appropriate business in competitive timelines.

  • Write, lead, and manage all aspects of credit applications, including due diligence findings, transaction analysis, structure recommendations, and risk assessment, ensuring high‑quality materials for internal approval committees.

  • Oversee the full execution process including underwriting, approval, negotiation of legal documentation, and closing, while coordinating with Risk Management, Legal, Middle Office, and Compliance to ensure best‑in‑class delivery.

  • Manage ongoing portfolio responsibilities for assigned accounts, including covenant compliance, credit monitoring, post‑closing requests, and timely escalation of emerging issues.

  • Coordinate client onboarding with Middle Office and respond proactively to deal alerts, notices, and client needs.

  • Contribute to internal initiatives to simplify and improve processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Candidate should be client focused and demonstrate strong analytical abilities. This person should have a strong desire to build their knowledge of banking laws and regulations. They should demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and execute within Rabobank policies and procedures. Candidate should be a high performing team player with a willingness to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities depending on the needs of the business.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the Vice President Fund Finance role, you must have:

  • Bachelor degree, five+ years of experience in the finance sector (including fund finance, leveraged finance)

  • Series 7, 63 (preferred)

  • Proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing fund finance transactions for Financial Sponsors.

  • Strong legal and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate legal structures and perform comprehensive credit analysis for fund finance facilities.

  • Experience pitching and presenting financing solutions to senior‑level stakeholders, including Treasury and CFO executives.

  • Background in executing complex or high‑profile transactions in fast‑paced environments.

  • Ability to represent Rabobank effectively with clients, sponsors, and market participants, positioning the bank as a leading lender in North American fund finance.

  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams and stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $140,000.00 - $230,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
