What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Data & Analytics Engineer in New York, New York to work as a Business Intelligence Developer supporting FID and IED Bl Reporting & Analytics. Provide reporting and analytics solutions for Client and Sales Revenue. Provide Bl reporting and dashboard solutions based on clients' requests. Design, develop, and implement efficient Bl Reporting solutions in a dynamic financial services environment. Provide technical solutions for businesses requirements, including visualizations, look & feel, and functionalities. Perform unit testing to ensure high data quality prior to delivery of reports or dashboards. Troubleshoot and analyze data issues using SQL in various databases. Utilize understanding of Agile processes to provide technical solutions and to automate reporting and processes. Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams. Adhere to

project timelines and provide alternative technical solutions when needed. Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field of study

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Manager, Workspace Senior Consultant, or a related role

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Qlikview;
  • Tableau;
  • SAP Business Objects;
  • Greenplum;
  • IBM DB2;
  • Crystal Reports;
  • Linux;
  • Perl;
  • Python;
  • PL/SQL,
  • Sybase; and
  • ASP .NET.

Requires Two (2) years of experience with:

  • Power BI;
  • Git Hub;
  • MS SQL Server.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $191,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
