Availity delivers revenue cycle and related business solutions for health care professionals who want to build healthy, thriving organizations. Availity has the powerful tools, actionable insights and expansive network reach that medical businesses need to get an edge in an industry constantly redefined by change.

A technology company on a mission to take on the craziness and complexity of the US healthcare system and make it work better for everyone it touches, Availity is one of the best kept secrets in American healthcare.

Enabling real-time collaborations between millions of providers and 95% of US health plans, our scale is humbling. Every year, we manage half of all provider-payer interactions, move about 10% of US GDP through our network, and mine our unmatched body of healthcare data for insight into what’s going right and wrong at each step in the patient journey – then shape innovations that unlock new ease and value for everyone in the system.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Vice President of Marketing & Communications is a market-facing enterprise leader responsible for shaping and executing Availity’s modern, data-driven marketing and communications strategy to accelerate growth, strengthen category leadership, and deliver measurable business impact.

This leader will elevate marketing into a true growth engine—powered by data, intelligent automation, and deep customer insight—to drive pipeline, revenue, and brand differentiation. They will champion innovation, continuously reimagining how marketing works to increase speed, precision, and scalability across the organization.

The VP will build and lead a high-performing, creative, and accountable team; foster a culture of continuous learning and talent development; and balance bold, visionary thinking with disciplined execution. They will also ensure Availity shows up in the market with a clear, credible, and consistent voice that earns trust and amplifies our leadership.

Availity is no longer content to be one of healthcare’s best-kept secrets. The industry needs a louder champion—a provocative advocate and a voice of clarity in a system overdue for change. While new entrants chase valuations, we remain focused on something more meaningful: making the healthcare system work better for everyone it touches.

This role is a rare opportunity to help lead Availity through a transformational moment. As the VP of Marketing & Communications, you will be a primary catalyst in bringing our newly defined market position to life, helping us step forward with greater confidence, sharper differentiation, and a more forceful voice. Over the past six months, we’ve refined and validated our positioning with healthcare payers, providers, and health IT leaders. The response has been clear: the market is ready. Now we’re looking for a leader who can unleash it.

Sponsorship, in any form, is not available for this position.
