Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President of Marketing to lead our demand generation and product marketing work at Harvey. This role will be responsible for creating thoughtful marketing campaigns and programs that resonate with our prospects and customers and help Harvey scale globally. We are developing the marketing function with the same urgency and ambition that define the rest of Harvey. You’ll need to be decisive, prioritizing signal over noise, and operate quickly. You’ll need to simplify–translating complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that resonate. And most importantly, you’ll need to embody our value of Job’s Not Finished, bringing a bias for iteration and a high bar for excellence to everything we do.

What You'll DoProduct Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute high-impact go-to-market strategies for rapid product rollouts and continuous feature innovation.

  • Lead competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning and messaging in a quickly-evolving AI landscape.

  • Create crisp, compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with our prospects, customers, and influencers.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure market-driven product development.

  • Lead and scale a high-performing product marketing team, including enablement tools, processes, and competitive intelligence.

  • Drive a continuous feedback loop, integrating insights from internal and external stakeholders to improve and evolve our marketing approach.

Demand Generation Strategy
  • Build and scale data-driven, multi-channel demand generation programs to drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Develop integrated campaigns across digital marketing, content marketing, events, and field marketing.

  • Lead marketing automation and lead nurturing strategies to optimize conversion rates throughout the funnel.

  • Define and optimize lead scoring, qualification processes, and seamless handoff processes in a high-velocity sales environment.

  • Oversee Harvey’s content marketing strategy and development of high-value educational resources, including thought leadership and executive content.

  • Drive account-based marketing initiatives for key enterprise prospects and customers.

  • Establish robust marketing performance metrics and attribution models to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership & Operations
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across product marketing, demand generation, and marketing operations, hiring great people and creating the conditions for them to thrive.

  • Establish scalable marketing processes, metrics, and reporting frameworks to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Customer Success, Comms and Brand, and Executive Leadership.

  • Manage marketing budget allocation and resource planning to maximize ROI.

  • Drive marketing technology stack optimization and data-driven decision making alongside our Business Technology team.

What You HaveExperience & Background
  • 5+ years in marketing leadership roles where you have owned both strategy and execution across Demand generations and Product Marketing

  • Experience building and scaling marketing teams in high-growth environments

  • Strong background in marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and performance measurement

  • Comfort working with AI and ideally you’ve helped bring AI products to market, understanding the nuances of messaging emerging technology

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and marketing technology stack management.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience with marketing metrics and KPIs

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Collaborative leadership style with experience managing cross-functional relationships

  • Deep understanding of buyer personas, customer journey mapping, and sales funnel optimization

  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, content marketing, and modern demand generation tactics
