Overview:
The Vice President, M&A Integration, will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of M&A Integration. This key position will act as a center of expertise in support of M&A integration efforts globally and will support Integration Executives and Executive Sponsors on M&A transactions. This individual will play a leading role in the development and implementation of best-in-class M&A integration practices and be a critical contributor to the success of Mastercard's M&A efforts.
Role:
Oversee and support M&A integration efforts and be center of expertise across the company
Partner with Business Sponsors, Integration Executives, and the Corporate Development team to rigorously evaluate deals, identify and structure the key initiatives for generating deal value, and construct tailored integration programs to deliver on deal objectives
Act as a trusted business advisor to Integration Executives and other Functional integration leaders, providing best practice input and guidance throughout the M&A lifecycle including Integration Bootcamps and Value Creation Summits
Monitor and ensure delivery of the key strategic and financial objectives of our acquisitions through the M&A scorecard process
Lead the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance M&A outcomes, including the development of Integration Target Operating Models and Deal Value Drivers
Continually incorporate lessons learned and contribute to the improvement of frameworks, artifacts and tools supporting the integration process
All About You:
MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
Demonstrated experience in M&A integration is required
Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred along with highly developed multi-cultural sensitivity
Experience in line roles with exposure to multiple business functions (e.g., product development, sales, marketing, finance) a plus
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to structure, manage and coordinate complex cross-enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to challenge established views and assumptions at all levels and drive change
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
Ability to understand culture differences in order to drive change and engage stakeholders across the organization
Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and business partners
Excellent presentation and writing skills
