The Vice President, People Business Partner, Core Payments has primary responsibility for advancing a comprehensive talent strategy, which addresses all aspects of the employee lifecycle and organization design and development, in support of the business-wide strategic goals and performance. The portfolio for this role includes:• Digital Solutions Engineering, which builds and runs Mastercard's digital payment platforms - including gateways, authentication, tokenization, checkout services, prepaid services and processing - that enable secure, scalable access to the network across products and markets. • Optimization, which maximizes the performance, economics, and growth of Mastercard's core and digital solutions by applying data, pricing, and optimization capabilities - including Payment Optimization Platform (POP) to improve outcomes for clients and the enterprise. • Strategy and Execution, which enables strategy development for Core Payments, drives disciplined execution across priorities, while also leading the Program Enablement Office, Sales Enablement, and Risk for Core Payments
The People Business Partner will design and implement a strategy that supports the needs of Digital Solutions Engineering and Optimization, while aligning to the overarching strategy of Core Payments and Mastercard. This position reports to the Executive Vice President, People & Capability, Core Payments.
Role:
• Responsible for the development and implementation of talent strategies and initiatives, and management of people and organization activities for assigned portfolio.• Act as a positive cultural change agent, consultant and business advisor to the leadership team, enabling the execution of their business strategies and initiatives.• Partner with Mastercard's Centers of Excellence and regional People Business Partners to develop strategies and initiatives designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.• Serve as an advocate for employees and develop and implement initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, development, and productivity.• Manage and perform a wide range of P&C activities including, but not limited to: strategic alignment, leadership development and succession planning, organization design, compensation assessment, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations management, and employee coaching.• Partner with Finance to manage the budget and forecasting of expenses related to employees and all other P&C activities.
