This position is on the award-winning Chase Marriott Cobrand Card team within the Partner Card organization of Chase Card Services, a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking division. This role will report directly to the Executive Director, Head of Marriott Cobrand Product.
Job responsibilities
The Vice President, Product Management and Marketing Strategy is an experienced leader who will create customer value through a multi-year plan for products, features and benefits that meet the financial, operational and control goals of the Marriott Cobrand Card program. They will identify product growth opportunities, develop and execute multi-year strategies grounded in customer and business insights that deliver against P&L objectives. This includes development of customer insights to inform new or enhanced products and benefits, marketing of existing and new products, digital capabilities and enhancements that support the product ecosystem and optimize customer usage of products and benefits. The VP, Product Management and Marketing Strategy will partner with finance and analytics to create business cases, collaborate with Marriott and internal stakeholders to plan, prioritize, develop and deliver on the Chase Marriott Cobrand roadmap.

  • Understand credit card product management, product development and platform, and/or product marketing
  • Identify and understand data-driven and marketing insights that deliver unique experiences across the end-to-end customer journey and inform marketing/business strategies
  • Support the roadmap of product and customer experience and balance stakeholder inputs/MVP releases
  • Ability to communicate business and customer needs to ensure resolution through improved processes, data and/or technology
  • Understand, coordinate, and communicate sprint, testing and implementation schedules
  • Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations for delivery issues, change requests, production issues
  • Monitor product performance as well as industry assessments that provide insights into competitive landscape and best practices
  • Partner with teams (across product, design, technology, risk, legal, compliance, operations, marketing) to manage prioritization, resourcing, controls, readiness, and go-to-market plans


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience on product development and/or product marketing, preferably in credit card, banking, digital and/or payments
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or other master's degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of credit card issuing or acceptance, card operations/service, and its supporting lines of business strongly preferred
  • Experience in partner marketing and/or credit card cobrand products strong preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with clear structure and clarity
  • Ability to analyze opportunities/problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to influence and collaborate to drive cross-functional teams and productively work in a matrix management organization
  • Positive, customer-first, team-oriented and solutions-oriented attitude that inspires a creative and product first point of view
  • Exceptional business acumen with proven track record of developing and implementing successful customer-centric growth strategies
  • Results-focused, highly-organized and self-motivated with attention to detail and bias towards action
  • Strong proficiency in developing executive level presentation materials and using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience managing people strongly preferred
  • Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time
