About the Role

As VP, Sales – BioTech, you will own Hippocratic AI's commercial relationships with the world's largest biotech accounts. You will lead strategic enterprise sales cycles from prospect to close with the top commercial-stage biotech companies, driving the company toward its growth goal for 2027. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales excellence and cutting-edge healthcare AI, requiring a leader who can navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organizations while closing strategic deals at scale.

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and partner closely with Product, Clinical, and GTM teams to land and expand AI-driven patient engagement solutions across the biotech vertical. This is a field-first, hunter role — comfortable owning accounts from cold outreach through close. with travel expectations; 20-40% within the U.S.

What You'll Do
  • Drive end-to-end enterprise deals with commercial-stage biotechs.

  • Partner with Product, Clinical, and ML teams on biotech use cases including patient support programs, specialty drug adherence, rare disease navigation, and clinical trial recruitment.

  • Build ROI frameworks and consultative business cases for biotech buyers using an analytical, structuring-forward approach.

  • Maintain pipeline discipline with accurate forecasting and strong CRM hygiene.

  • Represent Hippocratic AI at biotech conferences, investor days, and industry events to build executive relationships and pipeline.

What You BringMust-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree required and advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience selling to commercial-stage biotech or specialty pharma.

  • Demonstrated track record closing large ($500K–$2M+) enterprise deals with biotech or specialty pharma companies.

  • Experience selling consulting, SaaS, or AI solutions requiring creativity, stakeholder alignment, and bespoke structuring.

  • VP-level enterprise seller with a quota-carrying history at ~$3M ARR per year.

  • Strong communication skills — ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Commitment to safety, ethics, and patient-centered outcomes.

  • Intellectual curiosity and mission alignment.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Strong analytical skills; IB or management consulting background a plus for use-case depth and ROI previewing.

  • Existing relationships with commercial executives at commercial-stage biotechs.

  • Experience with digital health, AI-driven patient engagement, or specialty drug support programs.

  • Startup, scale-up, or regulated-industry experience in a high-growth healthcare technology company.
