IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Head of Sales- Quality & Technical - North America will be responsible for executing Foods Connected’s commercial strategy across the North American market, with a specific focus on Quality, Technical, and Compliance solutions within the food industry. This senior role encompasses driving regional sales performance, establishing Foods Connected as a partner of choice for technical and quality management software, and supporting strategic growth across existing and emerging market segments.

You will drive the regional sales function, and collaborate closely with Professional Services and Marketing to ensure customer needs and market insights inform our roadmap. You will report to the Global Sales Director and will be a key member of the North America Sales team.

A strong understanding of the food manufacturing, retail, or supply-chain ecosystem — particularly in Quality, Technical, Supplier Management, or Compliance — is highly beneficial, as is experience selling B2B SaaS products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial Operations & Strategy-80%

  • Lead the execution of a comprehensive Commercial Sales plan that includes:
  • Increasing awareness to position Foods Connected and its leadership team as thought leaders and changemakers.
  • Executing a data-driven customer acquisition and engagement plan.
  • Researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, including but not limited to; Retailers, Food Manufacturers.
  • Identifying new opportunities within existing Foods Connected Infrastructure and supply chain.
  • Attendance at industry conferences and proactively demonstrate and advocate for the benefits of the Foods Connected platform to target customers.
  • Leading Proposals / Statements of Work for core functionality.
  • Lead and coordinate product demonstrations to new customers.
  • Set business growth goals with leadership; analyse and report on performance, impact, and insights
  • Effectively predict and deliver sales results through accurate sales forecasting.
  • Lead, develop, and create a culture of testing and experimentation to innovate on how we drive business growth, new acquisition, expansion and user engagement.
  • Develop the distinct value of our company and solutions to the market and customers; Own product positioning and messaging within the North American market.

Coordination of Development, Project Management & Professional Services Operations:-20%

  • Develop successful operations of the customer journey from Business Development to Professional Services.
  • Utilisation of AI resources to improve efficient delivery of sales function and Foods Connected internal processes.
  • Plan and prioritize work streams for multiple audiences in a strategic fashion to align with business goals and optimize results
  • Partner with all functions including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Design, and Human Resources to lead local growth.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field an or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Food and or Software Industry interacting with Software systems for tracking Production, Quality, Suppliers or Procurement.
  • Prior experience or knowledge with the Food industry.

Technical Skills

To perform this job successfully, the Head of Sales - Quality & Technical -North America should have experience with:

  • Knowledge of software solutions utilized across the Food Industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth software company.
  • Microsoft: 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Utilization of a CRM system e.g. Salesforce/ HubSpot or equivalent application.

BENEFITS:

  • Compensation of up to $300,000 OTE. This will be a combination of Base Salary  + Commission. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience.
