Position Overview

Wall Street Prep is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our new business sales organization. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this individual will be responsible for building a disciplined, performance-driven sales team while partnering with leadership to drive consistent execution against revenue goals.

This role is focused on team leadership, process optimization, and talent development. The VP of Sales will bring structure, accountability, and a coaching-driven culture to improve performance and scale results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Execution

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Account Executives focused on new business acquisition
  • Establish and reinforce a high-performance sales culture with clear metrics, accountability, and feedback
  • Develop onboarding, enablement, and coaching programs to reduce ramp time and increase team productivity
  • Foster a team-oriented environment while supporting individual performance and growth

Pipeline & Forecasting Discipline

  • Drive full-funnel pipeline development and execution, ensuring coverage and velocity
  • Own and improve forecasting accuracy, delivering predictable performance and visibility
  • Analyze pipeline data to identify bottlenecks, optimize conversion rates, and accelerate deal cycles

Go-to-Market Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with the CRO and marketing to execute sales plays and support demand generation efforts
  • Ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies across the sales team
  • Leverage WSP’s strong inbound demand and market reputation to open new enterprise accounts

Sales Infrastructure & Process Optimization

  • Implement best-in-class sales processes, cadences, and systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Define and manage key performance metrics and dashboards to support ongoing optimization
  • Partner with RevOps to ensure tools and workflows support scale and efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–15+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including 5–7 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success managing and scaling sales teams in high-growth environments
  • Deep experience in pipeline management, sales execution, and structured forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, SaaS, or professional education/training markets
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Track record of exceeding targets and building performance-driven teams
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategy (Salesforce preferred)
