About this role

Role Overview

We’re seeking a digitally fluent and strategically minded marketing leader to drive the positioning and go-to-market strategy for BlackRock’s suite of mutual funds and iShares ETFs within the U.S. Wealth Advisory (USWA) business. This role is pivotal in shaping how our products are perceived and adopted by U.S. financial advisors across both digital and traditional distribution channels. You’ll lead a high-performing team, craft compelling narratives, and deliver data-driven campaigns that elevate BlackRock’s presence in the wealth management space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross-product marketing strategy for mutual funds and ETFs, with a strong emphasis on digital-first engagement.
  • Champion digital innovation across marketing channels, leveraging data and technology to drive personalization, lead generation, and advisor engagement.
  • Develop differentiated product narratives across asset classes, translating complex investment strategies into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Lead the creation of scalable content frameworks that support both broad campaigns and firm-specific customization.
  • Build deep expertise in BlackRock’s product platform and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategy and storytelling.
  • Identify emerging advisor and investor trends to shape proactive marketing initiatives and thought leadership.
  • Use analytics and qualitative feedback to continuously refine messaging and campaign effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8-10+ years of experience in investment marketing, product strategy, or digital marketing within financial services.
  • Proven ability to lead digital marketing initiatives and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for simplifying the complex.
  • Expertise in content creation, design thinking, and marketing automation
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$173,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$120,000.00 - USD$163,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
