Job Duties: The Digital Asset Lab is responsible for partnering with teams across the firm to define our Digital Asset strategy and Aladdin roadmap and drive the execution of our most important commercial initiatives. Some of the responsibilities include defining the execution strategy for Digital Asset initiatives like tokenization, evaluating blockchain protocols, building product operating models and developing new applications and features in Aladdin, leading technical integrations, and researching new blockchain technologies. The role requires a strong background in engineering, traditional finance, decentralized finance, blockchain technology, and Aladdin.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 48 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role. Position requires four years of experience in the following: Architecting and implementing enterprise technology applications; Designing and developing blockchain solutions, including integrations into wider technology stacks; Technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and limitations; Advanced understanding of cryptography, encryption, and automation; Proficiency in Java, Python, and Solidity programming languages; Experience working with financial products including ETPs and tokenized funds; Experience working with financial infrastructure including FIX, SWIFT, and MQ; Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure; Deep knowledge of major cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Experience with technologies like Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration; Optimize application performance through CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies; Experienced in designing, developing, and deploying applications built on a microsevices architecture; and Experience presenting and working with sales teams.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$181,000.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
