Barstool Sports is seeking a Viceroy Intern to join our team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and community management, helping to grow and engage Barstool’s network of college viceroys. This internship runs from May 27 to August 29 and is based out of our New York office.
What You'll Do
- Manage content creation, social copy, and publishing across various platforms.
- Develop engagement strategies to foster community growth and increase fan interaction.
- Oversee the post-sale process for social campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to provide creative direction and refine social content.
- Adapt content for different social platforms, ensuring each post is optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and more.
- Transcribe, caption, and quality-check video content for accessibility and accuracy.
- Track content performance, analyze key metrics, and implement actionable insights.
- Maintain and oversee college viceroy accounts, ensuring activity, content quality, and engagement meet Barstool standards.
- Communicate merchandising and advertising opportunities with viceroys to drive brand expansion.
- Develop and implement new engagement strategies to grow Barstool’s presence on emerging platforms.
What You Have
- Experience running a social media account in sports, entertainment, finance, gaming, or a related field for 6+ months, with consistent posting (15+ posts per week).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage key stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Creative and critical thinking skills, with a passion for digital trends and audience engagement.
Pay Rate: $16/hr
