Sound Collective is seeking a creative and technically proficient Video Editor to join our in-house media team. Your responsibilities will range from editing online video courses, based on all disciplines of music, to creating marketing assets for our brand and products. You will work closely with the educational and marketing teams to execute projects within our brand standards and creative identity. Our work environment is fast-paced and collaborative; being able to work within teams and receive feedback is a must.
Sound Collective is a New York City-based music education hub offering world-class training for producers, DJs, and artists both online and in-person. Our in-person facilities and online platform blend expert-led courses, professional studios, modern tools, and a global creative community. We give creators everything they need to learn, collaborate, and make their best work both online and in person.
Responsibilities
- Ingest, organize, and sync video and audio assets
- Edit long-form multi-camera educational videos
- Edit engaging short-form social media videos
- Perform basic color grading, motion graphics, and sound mixing
- Receive and integrate feedback across departments
Requirements:
- High-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Functional understanding of Adobe After Effects
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud libraries and MOGRTs
- Experience working within a post-production team
- Experience with Windows computers
- Experience in Live Streaming is a bonus
- Experience with Black Magic cameras is a bonus
- Experience in motion graphics is a bonus
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop is a bonus
- Musical knowledge is a bonus
