Studios is the division internal content creation team, producing world class creative - with a focus on video content - bringing to life Informa Festival's brands to their customers and the wider worldwide audience. You will be working within a diverse and dynamic team of creatives, including producers, video creators, motion designers and more.

Job Description

This role is based in our 605 Third Avenue, NY office.

We're looking for a Video Producer to join our team in the New York City office as part of Studios, Informa Festivals' Creative Content function.

The Video Producer will assist our New York team in producing and delivering various types of social-first content, including interviews, social formats, and sizzle reels, explainers and event coverage. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Production Manager in London to help manage the increased flow of creative content from Informa Festivals’ US-based events brands.

Please note this is not a filming/editing role, the video producer manages and organises the creative workflow, enabling video creators and editors to maximise their creative output.

As part of our creative content function your key responsibilities will include

  • Receiving and processing briefs from key stakeholders 

  • Kick off production with the in-house studio team 

  • Sourcing and booking external freelancers

  • Organising the team schedule and timelines for filming, and editing

  • Managing production meetings and reviewing briefs to ensure needs are met

  • Managing small and medium budgets for specific productions

  • Preparing and distributing briefing notes and scripts and storyboards

  • Booking studios, equipment, talent and staff for video productions

  • Reviewing footage and recommending content edits

  • Keeping up to date with video & audio best practices for long-form content on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube (shorts, pre-roll, and full video), Apple Podcast

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience producing social-first video content either in-house corporate or in agency

  • Previous experience reviewing scripts & content, showcasing a confident editorial eye when recommending amends to ensure top quality output

  • Proven stakeholder management experience, across seniority levels

  • Comfortable dissecting a brief to understand the requirements, and ensuring deliverables meet the brief

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience.
