About Inspiration Commerce Group (ICG)
We’re a team of ~50 people who’ve done 6 acquisitions in 18 months and scaled from $0 to >$100M in revenue. We’re a global group with businesses across the US, UK, and EU. We buy and build companies that help people find and buy the products they love. Our portfolio includes leading fashion marketplaces like Italist, HEWI and Verishop, affiliate marketing platforms like Stylight and MyBestBrands, B2B technology solutions like Bonsai, and niche Marketplaces in the Creator and Construction spaces like Everpress and DOZR.

About the Role

As we expand our luxury resale business (HEWI) into the US and double-down on our designer marketplace (Italist), We’re looking for someone to join us as a VIP Account Manager (Luxury Fashion).

In this role you'll partner with our VIP customers (high net-worth individuals and celebrities) to onboard them to our portfolio companies and ensure they have a delightful customer journey. Customers can consign their pre-loved luxury/designer items to be sold by us through HEWI, and then replace those products with latest-season inventory from Italist. You'll build a book of business and guide customers through their journey with us from end to end. This is a full-time, remote-first role in the USA.

Things You'll Work On
  • Business Development: you'll source and onboard new customers to the ICG ecosystem. This will be through a mix of finding high-potential customers that are already shopping with us, and bringing on new customers through referrals, targeted sales/marketing, and networking events. You'll build and expand on a book of business, with ideal VIP customers spending >$40,000 annually.

  • Luxury Consignment: through our business HEWI we can help customers to monetize their closet and make money off the products they loved and are ready to part with. You'll review what products customers have, help to determine what is best to be sold, coordinate the products being shipped to us, and communicate with the customer throughout the process of us authenticating and selling them.

  • New/Next Season Purchasing: you'll act as a Personal Shopper to help customers find the best deals and curate their wardrobe with the brands and products that they love. This will be a mixture of understanding their style/vibe and balancing it with what is currently hot and on-trend.

  • Escalated Tier 1 Customer Support: you'll be the dedicated point of contact and escalation point for any questions, issues or concerns that our VIP customers need support with.

Attitudes

We don't care what your current job title is, how long you've been working, or whether you have a degree. We do care about you being tightly aligned with our operating principles:

  • You’re competitive and love to win. You’re competitive and are always looking for an edge. You have a high bar (some would say “unrealistic”) for yourself and those you work with.

  • You do whatever it takes. You’re willing to do what others won’t to achieve what others can’t. What we’re doing is hard. Really hard. Sacrifices are required in the pursuit of greatness, and we’re chasing greatness.

  • Founder-level ownership. If something breaks, you fix it. If there’s an opportunity, you chase it. You (and we) never say "that's not my job".

  • Curiosity with teeth. You don’t just ask why something isn’t working — you dig until you know, then you ship a fix.

  • You ask for forgiveness, not permission.

  • You’re a self-starter. You love being in the weeds and rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You never let roadblocks get in the way of getting things done; the laws of physics alone dictate what you can do.

Who this role is right for
  • Someone who has worked in luxury fashion or the designer re-sale space

  • Someone who enjoys sales and account management; someone motivated by high variable compensation and uncapped commission

  • Someone who genuinely loves fashion and accessores!

  • Someone who thrives in chaos: throw you a new challenge on Friday, and you’ll know by Monday what you want to do and how you want to do it

Who this role is not right for
  • People who want a stable, predictable or repetitive role/set of tasks

  • People who are excited about building and managing a team vs being hands-on themselves

  • People who find comfort in following a playbook

  • People who prefer stability over speed or “strategy over execution”

Logistics/Next Steps
  • Process: everyone will hear back within 3 days of applying. Our process involves calls with 2-3 members of our team. You'll also complete 1-day working session (paid).

  • Work Setup: we operate Remote-first with some time spent In-Person together throughout the year as needed.

  • Working Hours: we trust team members to manage their own schedules and believe that taking time off to recharge makes you more productive in the long run. That said, we’re early enough that everyone’s work makes a big difference on the company’s trajectory. As a result, our team finds hard work fulfilling when we know it will be impactful. Typically, we check out around 6pm to protect personal time and then log back in later at night to finish anything that was left undone.
