Job Description

This role sits at the center of brand strategy and paid media execution for one of the industry's most iconic premium credit card portfolios. The VP, Brand Manager will develop and execute breakthrough paid media campaigns that drive measurable impact on both brand and business, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to deliver innovative, culturally relevant work. This person will lead end-to-end advertising and marketing efforts across paid and owned channels — messaging, creative development, talent partnerships, and production — while managing a high volume of cross-functional requests with executive-level visibility.

  • Manage and evolve paid creative strategy and development from concept to execution, partnering with teams to identify the optimal approach across brand-building, action-driving, and experiential campaigns. Oversee creative asset execution from brief development and concepting through creative testing, production, and trafficking.

  • Manage visual identity development, evolution, and rollout, partnering with teams to ensure feasibility and stakeholder alignment.

  • Partner with media planning teams to refine and evolve channel strategy — optimizing channel mix, audience targeting, and investment allocation across the full funnel (TV, social, display, audio). Identify and test emerging platforms and media opportunities.

  • Manage full-funnel paid media requests and ad hoc campaign requests as they arise, including talent, sports, and music partnerships.

  • Co-manage relationships with external business/brand partners alongside internal stakeholders.

  • Cultivate strong relationships across brand, media, sports & entertainment, and talent & content teams to drive alignment and deliver integrated campaigns.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive card space — particularly premium travel, with strong fluency in music, fashion, lifestyle, and sports culture.

  • Operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization, managing multiple concurrent projects with different timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in Brand, Advertising, Media, or related disciplines, with a demonstrated track record managing integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Agency experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience in Lifestyle marketing (travel, sports, fashion, etc.), with proven experience working at an agency or partnering directly with agencies.

  • Proven self-starter with the ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable marketing plans and high-impact campaigns.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive execution against tight timelines.

  • Experience managing end-to-end creative production processes; proficient in trafficking creative assets across a range of paid channels.

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and forecasting investment needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify innovative opportunities and apply fresh thinking to creative strategy, media planning, and campaign execution.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with strong executive presence and the ability to navigate diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Deep familiarity with cultural relevance in the premium travel space, as well as music, fashion, lifestyle, and sports.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES & SKILLS

  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and responsibilities.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to execution details.

  • Commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional nights or weekends for production shoots.

  • Exposure to AI tools in a marketing context is a plus, but is not a primary evaluation criterion — depth of hands-on campaign experience takes priority.
