The VP of Corporate Development leads strategic growth initiatives, managing M&A and partnerships while supporting the CEO and overseeing key projects.
SUMMARY:The VP of Corporate Development is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the organization's strategic trajectory and growth. Reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Development, this position encompasses a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including the development and execution of corporate strategies, oversight of corporate development activities such as M&A and strategic alliances, management of key projects and initiatives, and provision of essential support to the CEO.QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in transactions (partnerships, alliances, M&A), and deal execution with strong financial acumen
- Experience as a CEO direct
- Demonstrated experience in business planning
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong preference for a background in banking, consulting, or similar roles within diagnostics or related industries.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of diagnostics, healthcare, and life sciences
- Strong experience and network in the above
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and executing successful strategic partnerships and M&A transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and problem-solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A
- Lead the entire strategic partnership, alliances, and M&A process, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing acquisition and merger deals.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Oversee due diligence processes for strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to negotiate and execute
- Ensure successful integration of acquired companies or partnerships aligning with organizational
