About this job

The Vice President, Global Consumer Financials is a senior player–coach role accountable for driving commercial growth while shaping the end‑to‑end product strategy for the Consumer Financial Services portfolio globally. 

This role combines hands‑on quota-carrying sales leadership with product ownership responsibilities, ensuring solutions are market-relevant, differentiated, and commercially scalable. The VP will personally lead strategic sales motions with priority clients while coaching teams, influencing roadmap decisions, and translating client needs into monetizable product innovation. 

This is a high-impact commercial leadership role for an executive who thrives equally in client rooms and internal strategy discussions. 

Responsibilities:

Commercial & Sales Leadership (Player–Coach) 

  • Own and carry a global revenue target/quota for the Consumer Financial Services portfolio 
  • Personally lead high-value, complex sales opportunities, including:  
    • C‑suite and executive-level engagements 
    • First‑time service adoption 
    • Large, multi-solution or multi-market deals 
    • RFPs and cross-portfolio proposals 
  • Actively prospect, shape demand, and convert opportunities through hands-on selling, not delegation 
  • Serve as the primary commercial closer on the most strategic accounts 
  • Coach and elevate sales and practice teams through:  
    • Live deal participation 
    • Joint-selling 
    • Objection handling and value articulation modeling 
  • Build, manage, and rigorously inspect an active pipeline to ensure attainment against operating plan 

End‑to‑End Product Ownership 

  • Act as the commercial and market-facing product owner for Consumer Financial Services solutions 
  • Translate client business challenges into:  
    • Clear product requirements 
    • Scalable solution designs 
    • Commercial packaging and pricing strategies 
  • Influence and prioritize the product roadmap by:  
    • Feeding real-time client, competitor, and market insights into product teams 
    • Pressure-testing product-market fit through live selling 
  • Partner closely with product, analytics, and delivery teams to ensure:  
    • Solutions are differentiated, outcome-driven, and saleable 
    • Product enhancements directly support revenue growth and retention 
  • Own go-to-market strategy for new and evolving offerings, including positioning, use cases, and value stories 

Portfolio & Client Strategy Leadership 

  • Develop and activate holistic, annual client strategies for priority global financial services clients 
  • Drive enterprise wallet growth through:  
    • Multi-solution penetration 
    • Cross-specialty and cross-business collaboration 
    • Long-term value creation aligned to client KPIs 
  • Lead and own top-to-top client engagement, with the goal of portfolio-wide expansion 
  • Represent the full portfolio in a solution-agnostic, client-first manner 

Thought Leadership & Market Influence 

  • Personally deliver external and internal thought leadership 
  • Serve as a visible industry leader in Consumer Financial Services, representing insights, trends, and innovation 
  • Maintain deep expertise in:  
    • Consumer behavior 
    • Financial services trends 
    • Competitive landscape 
  • Continuously sharpen product and technical knowledge through ongoing learning and market exposure 

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience, including closing complex enterprise deals 
  • 7–10+ years of experience selling analytics, insights, or data-driven solutions into Financial Services 
  • Demonstrated success as a player–coach, balancing personal production with team leadership 
  • Proven ability to sell to and influence C‑suite and senior executives 
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect client needs to product and commercial outcomes 
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence 

Preferred 

  • Master’s degree strongly encouraged 
  • Experience influencing or owning product strategy, roadmap decisions, or go‑to‑market execution 
  • Global client or portfolio responsibility

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $150,000. - $215,000.00 USD.  Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus. Other benefits include flexible working environment, comprehensive health insurance, industry-leading parental leave, life insurance, education support and more.
