About KREWE

KREWE is an independent, high-fashion eyewear brand rooted in the vibrant culture and creativity of New Orleans, with headquarters in both New Orleans and New York City. Since launching in 2013, KREWE has grown into a distinctive lifestyle brand known for handcrafted sun and optical frames that reflect a deep commitment to quality, individuality, and design. Our presence spans brick-and-mortar boutiques, mobile retail concepts, ecommerce, premier independent retailers, and national partners. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate, ambitious, and innovative people who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to help build a brand that is original, culturally rooted, and globally resonant. Every team member at KREWE has the opportunity to own their role and make a lasting impact.

We are currently searching for a Vice President, Global Sales & Commercial to oversee KREWE’s company-wide sales performance and commercial strategy across all revenue-generating channels, including Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Eventing, Optical, and future growth channels.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will serve as the senior commercial leader responsible for ensuring KREWE delivers against its total company revenue plan. The VP, Global Sales & Commercial will work closely with the leaders of Retail and Digital & Ecommerce, who will continue to own, manage, strategize, and execute their respective businesses, while this role provides the broader commercial oversight needed to connect performance across channels and drive overall company growth.

This leader will also directly own KREWE’s Wholesale and Global Sales organization and will play a critical role in identifying new markets, partnerships, distribution opportunities, and revenue streams as the brand continues to scale domestically and internationally.

This role is based in either our NYC or New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week and requires frequent domestic travel, with potential international travel, to support key accounts, sales teams, retail markets, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee total company sales performance across Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Eventing, Optical, and emerging revenue channels.
  • Own the consolidated company revenue plan, sales targets, forecasting, and overall commercial priorities in partnership with the CEO and Finance.
  • Lead regular company-wide sales and commercial business reviews, identifying performance gaps, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
  • Maintain a clear view of how each revenue channel is contributing to the overall business and ensure channels are working together toward shared company goals.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Retail to understand and influence store sales, market performance, productivity, clienteling, and retail growth.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Digital & Ecommerce to understand and influence ecommerce revenue, acquisition, conversion, retention, and overall digital performance.
  • Directly lead KREWE’s Wholesale and Global Sales organization, including wholesale leadership, key accounts, independent sales representatives, optical and fashion accounts, and wholesale operations.
  • Develop and execute KREWE’s wholesale growth strategy across independent optical, fashion, specialty, department store, and strategic account channels.
  • Establish clear sales goals, territory strategies, account plans, and performance expectations across the wholesale organization.
  • Strengthen visibility into sell-in, sell-through, reorders, account productivity, inventory, and profitability.
  • Oversee the commercial performance of Eventing, pop-ups, mobile retail concepts, and other alternative selling channels.
  • Help define the long-term commercial strategy for Optical and identify opportunities to expand the category and distribution network.
  • Develop KREWE’s international sales strategy and identify priority markets, partners, distributors, and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Partner with Production & Planning to align inventory, demand forecasts, product flow, and sales opportunities across channels.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing on launches, partnerships, campaigns, and market activations that support commercial growth while protecting the integrity of the brand.
  • Evaluate new markets, partnerships, distribution models, and revenue opportunities and build clear business cases for investment.
  • Provide the CEO and Founder with a clear, consolidated view of company-wide revenue performance and recommendations for where the business should focus next.

Requirements:

  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in sales, commercial leadership, wholesale, retail, ecommerce, or general management within fashion, luxury, eyewear, accessories, beauty, or another premium consumer business.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing performance across multiple revenue channels.
  • Strong understanding of Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and B2B sales models.
  • Deep experience leading wholesale sales organizations, including key accounts, field sales teams, independent representatives, and distribution partners.
  • Strong P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and financial acumen.
  • Experience developing international markets, distribution strategies, or global sales organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience within optical, eyewear, or another highly specialized wholesale category is a plus.
  • Proven ability to influence senior functional leaders and drive accountability across an organization without disrupting functional ownership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear commercial actions.
  • Exceptional executive communication, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, founder-led environment with significant visibility and ownership.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Competitive wage
  • Group health plans: health, vision and dental insurance
  • Welfare benefits: life, ad&d, supplemental voluntary coverage
  • FSA Plan & HSA Program
  • 401(K) Investment Options
