The US Cash Equity team is hiring for VP, Head of US Cash Equity Sales.
The VP, Head of US Cash Equity Sales role includes managing the US Cash Equity Sales team while also maintaining a book of accounts and direct relationships with Sell Side firms, proprietary firms and institutions. The role requires deep understanding of all Cboe products, work closely with our product, execution consulting, marketing, legal, technology and operations teams, involvement with strategic planning for the business and development of sales campaigns.
Location: hybrid in NYC office with periodic travel as needed between Cboe offices and for client meetings and industry events.
Your responsibilities will be:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a combination of the following duties according to departmental guidelines:
- Serve as primary contact for a subset medium to large-sized member firms acting as advisor to drive strategic engagement, retention, and sustained growth in order flow.
- Set relationship strategy and lead high-impact client engagements, including executive-level meetings, strategic reviews, and follow-ups to advance firm-wide objectives.
- Represent Cboe at internal and external meetings, industry conferences, and executive forums, providing leadership in the promotion of current and new products to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
- Build, maintain, and expand senior-level member relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and deliver value.
- Oversee the development and analysis of recurring and ad hoc reporting to assess member performance, cost dynamics, and business trends; translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to evaluate and advance new business initiatives and strategic opportunities.
- Maintain deep expertise in Cboe technology and market structure including connectivity, order types, and routing strategies to anticipate member needs and influence product and service strategy.
- Collaborate within team to shape and present requirements for new products or product modifications to other internal teams including Markets, Technology, Legal and Marketing.
The ideal candidate has:
Experience:
- 12+ years, preferably within a financial services firm, especially with electronic trading, market structure and quantitative analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of applicable laws, exchange rules, and regulatory as they apply to public companies and the financial markets, with the ability to interpret and apply them to strategic and commercial decision-making
- Advanced understanding of equities and futures products, and market structure, enabling informed guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Competency in one or more statistical software packages (such as Salesforce or Tableau) commonly used for data analytics with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights and business recommendations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with ability to influence and build credibility internal and external contacts.
- Periodic travel as needed between Cboe offices and for client meetings and industry events.
- Proven ability to deliver and facilitate high-impact presentations to executive audiences, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity with advanced analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities; able to synthesize information and drive strategic outcomes
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other business-related software.
- Regular attendance at the workplace in a traditional office environment is required.
- High-level management and leadership experience is required including coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members to build a high-performing organization.
Education:
- Undergraduate or graduate level degree preferably in Business Administration or Finance, or quantitative discipline such as Computational/Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Financial Economics or Engineering, Operations Research and Applied Math, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $233,750-$288,750 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay target for new hires working in the position full time.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by actual work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, our total rewards program includes an annual variable pay program and benefits including healthcare (medical, dental and vision), 401 (k) with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, paid time off, market-leading tuition assistance, and much more!
