What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead a major LOB for COF, translating their objectives into insight-rooted, best-in-class media plans. Provide unwavering strategic guidance to both COF and your dedicated team of approximately 8 media professionals.
  • Partner seamlessly with other VP, Managing Directors to drive synergy and strategic alignment across all COF LOBs. The role is critical in creating a holistic, enterprise-wide view of all deliverables, establishing best practices, and co-authoring compelling Enterprise thought leadership.
  • Leverage deep expertise in both traditional and emerging media platforms to architect comprehensive, multi-channel strategies. Candidate is expected to be a source of solid strategic guidance, consistently bringing new ideas and forward-thinking approaches to the table.
  • Cultivate and nurture deeply rooted relationships built on trust and strategic value across all appropriate client levels, internal agency departments, media partners, and partner agencies.
  • Command all phases of Horizon’s strategic approach, managing the day-to-day operations of the BST to ensure consistent, high-quality client deliverables and instill absolute confidence in our integrated model.
  • Foster a culture of holistic, collaborative thinking within the team. Mentor direct reports to package their work through the strategic lens of the client, ensuring all recommendations are integrated, insightful, and impeccable.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly based on fast pace and evolving needs of the account that occur frequently, attention to detail and willingness to lean in deeply regardless of level, ability to support qualitative observations, strategic language with key quantitative support – we are a “show don’t tell” account

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • A minimum of 13+ years in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record of leading large, complex accounts
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams, with a history of fostering talent and inspiring a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale budgets (upwards of $100MM+) and demonstrating strong financial stewardship and accountability.
  • Deep and fluent expertise across all traditional media channels (TV, Radio, OOH, Print) combined with a sophisticated understanding of the digital landscape and emerging platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to command a room, build consensus, and articulate complex strategies with clarity and conviction to C-level audiences.
  • An agile and analytical thinker who can synthesize data, extract actionable insights, and weave them into a compelling strategic narrative.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment. Possesses the flexibility and nimble mindset required to navigate ambiguity and pivot quickly in response to changing client needs and market dynamics.

Salary Range

$170,000.00 - $230,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education,  licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.  As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.  We provide a competitive total rewards package including a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, company paid holidays and unlimited paid time off (PTO), mental health and wellness resources, pet insurance, childcare resources, identity theft insurance, fertility assistance programs, and fitness reimbursement.
