Savanta is a data, market research and advisory company with teams in the UK, Americas, and APAC. Working with high-profile organizations and some of the world’s best-known brands, we Inform & Inspire our clients to Make Better Decisions through powerful data, empowering technology and high-impact consulting.  Our culture is entrepreneurial, inclusive, and focused on innovation and career development.

About the Role:

As VP, PR & Comms, you will shape and amplify Savanta’s external narrative, securing high-impact media coverage and building relationships with key industry journalists and influencers.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, crafting proactive PR campaigns, managing reactive communications, and ensuring our brand voice is consistent and compelling across all external channels. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and agency partners to position Savanta as a thought leader in the research and insights industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement an annual PR strategy aligned with brand, demand generation, and commercial goals.
  • Build strong relationships with industry press, mainstream media, and key influencers.
  • Secure speaking opportunities, award submissions, and byline placements for executives.
  • Partner with Product & Brand Marketing to create press-worthy narratives around new products, client work, and data campaigns.
  • Integrate PR activity into broader marketing campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Manage all media communications, including press releases, media outreach, blogs, and broadcast content.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to expand internal communications and manage employee newsletters.
  • Draft and manage executive communications (quotes, op-eds, press statements).
  • Handle reactive communications, including media inquiries and crisis responses.
  • Amplify coverage on paid/social channels and track PR performance.

This is a unique opportunity to build and grow from a solid, supportive foundation. You’ll work directly with the CEO and Global Head of Marketing to craft messaging and grow visibility across the organization. There’s unrivalled scope for career development, including mentoring, coaching, and extensive training programs.

About You:

You are a PR strategist who knows how to make stories land, whilst being a hands-on leader, adept at building strong media relationships and crafting compelling pitches.

You can handle crisis communications and content promotion with equal polish, and thrive in a fast-paced, insight-driven environment. You’ll enjoy the buzz of working in a dynamic, global team, helping to generate stories that put Savanta on the map.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of building a company’s awareness and public presence.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to build and communicate plans that ladder up to key objectives.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with media, press and analysts.
  • Highly collaborative, strong listener and learner.
  • Experience managing agencies and freelancers.
  • Ability to align PR/Comms with lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C brands (both is ideal).
