Who We Are

Having surpassed $300M ARR and continuing to grow, Optro is the leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform on the market. More than 50% of the Fortune 500, including 7 of the Fortune 10, leverage our award-winning technology to move their businesses forward with greater clarity and agility. And our customers love us: Optro is top-rated on G2.com and Gartner Peer Insights.
At Optro, we inspire each other to innovate and are proud of what we are producing. We spend each day thinking of new ways to help our customers and contribute to the greater good of our company and our surrounding communities. We are all about assisting each other and breaking through barriers to create the most loved audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform by our customers. This is how we have become one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in North America for the seventh year in a row, as ranked by Deloitte!

Why This Role is Exciting

We are looking for a visionary executive to architect how Optro defines and dominates the connected risk and GRC category in the AI era. As AI reshapes enterprise software, we are moving beyond simple workflows to build the first GRC platform designed for agentic autonomy. Your challenge is to translate this profound technical evolution into a dominant market position, ensuring Optro isn't just a participant in the AI shift, but its primary leader.

We are at a pivotal moment. What began as a category-defining tool for audit has evolved into a multi-domain connected risk platform. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will serve as the primary architect of our market presence and commercial strategy. You will lead the charge in re-positioning Optro from a legacy of record to a future-ready platform of intelligence. This is a high-impact transformation role for a leader who wants to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI innovation and global market adoption.

Crucially, you will be a strategic glue for the organization, working in lockstep with Product and Sales to ensure our innovation is matched by market-beating execution. You aren't just managing a team; you are developing the next generation of marketing leaders and shaping the future of an industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Departmental Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and scale the product marketing organization. You will focus on the professional development of functional leads, fostering a high-output culture that balances strategic rigour with creative execution.

  • Integrated GTM Strategy: Drive the overarching go-to-market framework for Optro’s portfolio, ensuring seamless alignment between product roadmaps and revenue targets.

  • Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Synthesize complex technical capabilities, particularly our shift toward AI-native and agentic GRC, into compelling narratives that resonate with C-suite buyers and industry analysts.

  • Pricing & Packaging Ownership: Own the commercial architecture of our offerings, leading the strategy for price discovery, discounting frameworks, and bundle optimization to maximize LTV and market penetration.

  • Partner Marketing & Ecosystem Growth: Support the global ecosystem strategy, developing co-marketing programs and channel enablement that drive lead generation and brand preference.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Lead a dedicated function to monitor and analyze market shifts, translating them into actionable battlecards and strategic pivots to neutralize competitive threats.

  • Customer Advocacy: Support the customer advocacy function to ensure the voice of the customer is integrated into our value propositions and market communication.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

  • Your 12+ years of experience in Product Marketing (PMM) or Go-To-Market (GTM) roles, specifically within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Your Industry Expertise: Ideally, you bring a background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or have led marketing at an AI-forward company.

  • Your Leadership Philosophy: You are a "leader of leaders" with a proven track record of empowering and coaching managers to reach their full potential.

  • Your Collaborative DNA: You have a demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively across Product, Sales, and the broader C-suite.

  • Your Multi-Functional Mastery: Deep expertise across the core pillars of the role including Product, Partner, Competitive Intelligence, and Pricing.

  • Your Financial & Pricing Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS economics and revenue modeling; specific experience in Pricing Strategy is a significant plus.

  • Your Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.

  • Your Strategic Mindset: The ability to establish unified reporting cadences and finalize comprehensive GTM strategies that drive measurable increases in win rates.

Our Company Values

  • Customer obsession: It starts and ends here. Consistently ask yourself how what you’re doing creates value for our customers. It’s a mindset.

  • Gritty resilience: Make it happen. Find a way. Move fast, stay positive, and do what it takes.

  • Drive innovation: Create the future. Continuously improve what exists and invent what’s next.

  • Win, together: One team. No silos, no egos. Drive to be the best and support each other’s success.

  • Growth mindset: 10x, not 10%. Think in orders of magnitude, not increments. Seek feedback, learn, and improve.

Please note that background checks are required. Qualified Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for Employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. This role may have access to highly sensitive data, including employee data, customer data, company financials, and proprietary product information.
We love building strong partnerships, but please note that Optro cannot accept unsolicited resumes from agencies. Any submissions without a signed agreement in place will not create a fee obligation.
