About Fluidstack

At Fluidstack, we’re building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence. We partner with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises - including Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more - to unlock compute at the speed of light.

We’re working with urgency to make AGI a reality. As such, our team is highly motivated and committed to delivering world-class infrastructure. We treat our customers’ outcomes as our own, taking pride in the systems we build and the trust we earn. If you’re motivated by purpose, obsessed with excellence, and ready to work very hard to accelerate the future of intelligence, join us in building what's next.

About the Role

Fluidstack is scaling into one of the largest AI infrastructure platforms in the world, and supply chain is a strategic differentiator. As VP, Supply Chain, you will own the complete supply chain function: the processes, systems, and supplier relationships that put compute capacity in the ground ahead of demand.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a purely organizational one. You will directly manage commodity and sourcing managers, our procurement team, and logistics coordinators across MEP, IT infrastructure categories, and contract labor. You will personally own our most critical supplier relationships, negotiate our largest agreements, and stay close to day-to-day execution on supply risk and logistics performance.

You Will

  • Directly manage a team of commodity and sourcing managers, procurement coordinators, and on-site logistics coordinators: setting direction, unblocking execution, and developing the people who run Fluidstack's supply chain day to day

  • Personally own sourcing strategy and supplier relationships for our highest-impact categories: AI servers and GPU systems, storage and networking hardware, long-lead MEP equipment (generators, UPS, transformers, cooling, electrical switchgear), and contractor/labor supply chains

  • Lead and close multi-year supply agreements, framework contracts, and strategic allocation commitments with tier-1 OEMs and MEP subcontractors. sitting at the table for executive-level negotiations yourself

  • Drive end-to-end supply chain execution across MEP and IT infrastructure, holding yourself and the team accountable to on-time delivery, lead time, cost, and supplier fill rate targets

  • Identify and actively manage supply risk: single-source exposure, geopolitical constraints, long-lead item gaps, and allocation conflicts, intervening when escalation is warranted

  • Build and enforce procurement policy, purchase order discipline, and spend governance; partner with Finance on budget accuracy, accruals, and capital forecasting

  • Own inventory architecture decisions: safety stock positioning, VMI programs, distribution hub strategy, and asset lifecycle tracking to maximize fleet utilization and minimize stranded capital

  • Set organizational structure and headcount model for the supply chain function as Fluidstack scales; hire and develop the team

  • Report supply chain performance to C-suite and, where relevant, board-level stakeholders; translate operational detail into crisp executive communication

  • Partner closely with Data Center Construction, Infrastructure, Finance, and Legal to align supply chain execution with facility development milestones and customer commitments

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles in technology hardware, data center, hyperscale infrastructure, or a high-growth infrastructure platform

  • Demonstrated track record building and scaling supply chain organizations from ground up, including org design, talent development, and performance management

  • Executive-level experience owning procurement and logistics across both IT infrastructure hardware and physical/MEP infrastructure categories

  • Direct experience managing multi-hundred-million-dollar supplier relationships and complex multi-year supply agreements with major OEMs, ODMs, and MEP vendors

  • Experience operating in a high-growth or rapid-expansion environment, navigating constraint-driven markets and compressed delivery timelines

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a hyperscaler, neocloud, leading AI infrastructure company, or a major IT OEM/ODM in a VP or equivalent supply chain leadership role

  • Deep established relationships across the AI infrastructure supply chain: GPU and compute OEMs, server ODMs, networking, and MEP prime and specialty subcontractors

  • Experience with NPI supply chain processes and GPU/accelerator procurement at allocation-constrained scale

  • Deep understanding of next-generation datacenter technologies, including 800VDC and SSTs, two-phase liquid cooling, etc.

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline

  • APICS CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent executive-level supply chain certification

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation also includes equity in the form of stock options.

Additional benefits include: competitive health, dental, and vision insurance; retirement or pension plan in line with local norms; generous PTO policy in line with local norms.
