This is an exciting opportunity to join Rabobank's Value Chain Finance team-the product group that offers structured working capital solutions to the bank's Food, Agri and Energy Transition Corporate Clients. As a Vice President VCF Originations and Execution success will be determined by being a pro-active team player that is actively seeking to develop their professional skills, and contribute to a rapidly growing portfolio.
In this role, you help identify, structure and execute financing solutions that improve the working capital position of Rabobank's Clients. You will support Rabobank's Relationship Managers and the broader VCF team by preparing tailor made materials based on the specific working capital needs of a Client. You then take a leading role in the structuring and execution of the transaction, as well as the ongoing dialogue with the Client, Relationship Managers, Syndicate Banks, etc.
Job ResponsibilitiesCommercial negotiations with our Corporate Clients
Create new Client Pitch opportunities by working with Rabobank’s Relationship Managers. Being able to independently create a storyline -and over time independently pitch that storyline- based on the Client’s profile on how they may be helped by a Value Chain Finance solution
Contribute to, and take a pro-active role in the structuring and execution of new deals and significant amendments together with colleagues in the origination or transaction management functions. Take the lead in all matters related to transaction closings
Rely on your credit experience to assess the viability of an opportunity given VCF’s risk appetite. Preferably, your credit background relates to companies active in Food & Agriculture and the Energy Transition
Be a reliable, pro-active and result-driven resource to senior team members in an effort to contribute to the overall success of the broader VCF Team
To be considered for the Vice President - Value Chain Finance Originations & Execution role, you must have:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years' experience in wholesale banking and have a good working knowledge of working capital products and financial analysis.
Excellent communication skills, allowing them to deal with external and internal stakeholders and to be well suited to work in in a hybrid working environment consisting of working from home and open floor / dealing room setting in the office
Experience in credit and ideally with securitizations
Ability to travel regionally up to 15%

Salary Expectations:Target Hiring Range: $140,000.00 - $230,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
