This role owns the build-to-publish stage of the web content workflow and partners closely with content operations, design, development, QA, localization, and program management stakeholders to deliver scalable, component-based web experiences.
Responsibilities
- Author, build, QA, and publish web pages in Contentful using approved templates, components, copy, and assets.
- Assemble pages from reusable components and templates, following component specifications, content requirements, asset expectations, and authoring constraints.
- Incorporate copy updates, asset uploads or mapping, UAT feedback, and copy-related SEO updates prior to publishing.
- Create and manage rest-of-world market pages and support multi-market content publishing needs.
- Own pre-publish QA for authored pages, including content accuracy, links, assets, formatting, layout, rendering, and adherence to publishing standards.
- Support localization workflows, including localization file creation, hand-off, hand-back, and implementation of localized content.
- Partner with content operations to ensure assets, copy, and page requirements are ready for authoring.
- Collaborate with front-end development, design, QA, and program management teams to support launches and resolve authoring or publishing issues.
- Maintain consistency across a modular, scalable web content system using standardized templates and reusable components.
- Manage multiple concurrent page builds and launch timelines with minimal rework or escalation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience authoring and publishing web content in Contentful or a comparable headless CMS.
- 10+ years of experience building web pages using components, templates, reusable modules, and structured content workflows.
- 10+ years of experience with web content QA and publishing, including link validation, asset checks, rendering review, and pre-publish quality control.
- Strong understanding of component-based or design-system-driven web production environments.
- Experience working with approved templates, content models, folder structures, assets, copy decks, and publishing workflows.
- Familiarity with localization workflows and multi-market or rest-of-world page creation.
- Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, especially copy-related SEO updates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality across high-volume publishing work.
- Ability to work independently and own pages from build through QA and publish.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners including content operations, design, development, QA, and program management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct Contentful experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a modern, headless CMS environment.
- Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation/design-system tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and how they apply to authored web content.
- Basic, non-technical understanding of APIs, content modeling, and structured content relationships.
- Marketing, agency, or enterprise web production background.
- Experience supporting major product, campaign, or high-visibility web launches.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent launches in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong QA discipline with a track record of minimizing post-publish defects and rework.
