As Wholesale Coordinator, you support operational excellence in wholesale business, analyzing data, managing accounts, and supporting marketing activations.
YOUR ROLE
As Wholesale Coordinator, you support the growth, stability, and profitability of L’Occitane’s North American wholesale business. You play a critical role in enabling operational excellence and commercial success across key accounts including Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, Anthropologie, Military, and Independent partners.You will partner closely with the Wholesale Manager and internal cross‑functional teams—including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance—to ensure seamless execution across sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory management, and digital content optimization. This role requires a detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive mindset, with a strong interest in sales performance and wholesale operations within the prestige beauty space.
PROFILE
- Commercially curious and highly detail‑oriented, with strong ownership mindset
- 1–3 years of wholesale or retail account support experience within consumer goods; beauty or luxury strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and performance data
- Highly organized with excellent time‑management and follow‑through
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Computer‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with e‑commerce catalogs, digital assets, and PDP quality standards preferred
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and energized by fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments
- Passion for the beauty industry and strong alignment with the L’Occitane brand values
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wholesale Account & Operational Support
- Partner with the Wholesale Manager to support day‑to‑day management of key wholesale accounts.
- Maintain accurate assortment files, novelty trackers, and product lifecycle documentation.
- Support purchase order lifecycle management, including forecasting, order tracking, and on‑time delivery.
- Troubleshoot operational issues such as shortages, deductions, and RTVs.
- Lead new SKU setup, asset form submission, and coordination of buyer samples and gratis.
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams (Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Regulatory) and external wholesale partners.
- Inventory, Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare weekly sell‑out reports and “Monday Morning” sales presentations, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor inventory health, including Weeks of Stock (WOS) and sell‑through rates.
- Provide regular forecast updates and inventory insights to Demand Planning and Supply Chain partners.
- Support sales analysis for seasonal market meetings, kickoff calls, and line reviews.
- Digital, PDP & Content Optimization
- Own the accuracy and maintenance of wholesale e‑commerce catalogs for brick‑and‑mortar and online partners.
- Audit Product Detail Pages (PDPs) to ensure high‑quality content, asset compliance, and conversion‑driving storytelling.
- Coordinate with social, web, and creative teams to source assets and support digital and marketing activations.
- Marketing & Wholesale Activation Support
- Maintain the wholesale marketing calendar, tracking key launches, GWPs, kits, and promotional moments.
- Track and report on e‑wholesale marketing spend, including sampling and advertising investments.
- Support field team communications, market weeks, seasonal events, and airtime visits.
- Maintain an organized wholesale product closet and stay informed on competitive trends within the prestige beauty space.
- All other duties or projects as assigned

- The compensation for this role ranges from $50,000- $60,000 (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NYC)
